MOVING MONDRIAN by Vladimír Ambroz
The Czech manufacturer AMOSDESIGN has presented ‘Moving Mondrian’, a striking, limited-edition bookcase, at this year’s Maison & Objet design fair in Paris. Designed by Vladimír Ambroz and made of Corian, its grid-like construction and primary-colour accents reference Dutch De Stil painter Piet Mondrian’s highly abstract work- I’m sure you know them very well.
“The Moving Mondrian shows how distant things, such as painting canvas and furniture, are mutually closely interconnected by designer’s idea.”
Ambroz presents his version of variation on Piet Mondrian’s pictures, transforming static canvas of neoplasticism into space, dimension and movement.
The piece’s has, in fact, wheels to provide easy mobility.
Various formats of shelves, sizes, drawers, and movable colourful doors can hide whatever should be hidden and concurrently ineach case you will have another paraphrase on this famous author.
